The Colleague Experience Partner will contribute towards the achievement of organisational goals and plans, by continuing with the developing and embedding of Zero Waste Scotland’s Colleague Experience approach. Continuing to embed an Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, Well-Being, and Inclusion approach across the organisation that is reflective of the People Strategy and supports achievement of the Corporate Plan.
You will have:
- Extensive experience working in a HR Business Partner or similar role, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of working across a HR function.
- Extensive experience leading EDI Strategy and wellbeing initiatives
- Strong Stakeholder engagement experience.
- have passion for the role of Colleague Experience in driving an inclusive environment of employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, and driving a culture of high performance
- SME knowledge of Colleague Experience theory, methodology and best practice with previous experience of delivering against Colleague Experience, EDI, and/or Wellbeing strategies.
- Understanding of and experience working with HR Analytics, using data to tell a story and inform strategy and programming.
What you'll be doing;
- Working with the wider People Team to ensure a great colleague experience is embedded across all elements of the People Journey/Strategy.
- Leading on the design, implementation, and delivery of the organisation’s EDI strategy and supporting action plan, which spans the whole of the colleague life-cycle
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion:
- Responsible for the quarterly reporting to People & Remuneration Committee on EDI data and progress with action plan, alongside developing & writing the external Equality Mainstreaming and Gender Pay Gap Reports
- Keeping up to date with legislative developments in the EDI space (such as PSED & EHRC Guidance) to ensure Zero Waste Scotland is not only compliant, but leading with best practice in this space • Create and deliver an engaging, intentional, and meaningful EDI programme for colleagues to engage with, bringing our approach to EDI to life and responsible for benchmarking externally to maintain best practice
- Continuing to develop a data-informed colleague experience strategy, encompassing of our EDI and Wellbeing strategies, as well as executing on said strategies, with the ability to switch between strategic thinking, planning, and delivery.
Engagement & Colleague Voice:
- Developing and deploying a data-informed approach to colleague listening and engagement
- Responsibility for running our engagement surveys (both full & pulse) in a way that supports the aims of the organisation and leadership teams, owning analysis for ELT, with recommendations for focus areas and suggestions on how to bring to life, at an organisation-wide level
- Empowering managers to own their team’s engagement survey feedback, and to take action
- Facilitating and evolving the Colleague Forum so that it meets the needs of both colleagues and the organisation.
- Support & coach the Colleague Forum Chair & Deputy Chair
- Overseeing the design, delivery and implementation of a Health & Wellbeing strategy and plan which empowers colleagues to manage their own wellbeing in a way that works for them.
- Developing a data-informed approach to colleague listening and engagement.
- Working closely with the wider People Team to support the development of our workforce plan.
