We will consider full or part-time hours, and work on a hybrid basis from our Cannock office (2/ 3 days a week). Working hours are 9am- 5.30pm (with 1 hours lunch).

About the New Business Insurance Executive role:
You`ll be part of the New Business team, responsible for servicing our commercial clients with risks ranging from Motor Trade, Motor Fleet, Property Owners and Commercial Combined. With the support of the senior management team, you will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through generating own leads and converting referral leads.
Key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed agreed volume of Quotes/Sales/Income generated from all marketing sources including own personal prospecting activity.
- To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
About You
As our New Business Insurance Executive, you’ll have the ability and drive to work towards and exceed targets in a focused and successful team, striving to provide outstanding service to our clients. You’ll be the type of person who is keen to learn, develop and advance your insurance career with the support of your team.
You will have or be:
- Experience of Motor Trade Combined/ road risk and/or Motor Fleet insurance / and or commercial combined
- Passion and flair for new business (essential)
- Motivation and drive to achieve and exceed targets
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Organised with the ability to priorities and manage your own time
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and sales
- Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task, updating relevant systems where necessary
- Acturis system knowledge (ideally)
