We are recruiting for a Commercial Management Accountant to join our growing business. For the right candidate this is a very exciting opportunity. The right person needs to be a high performer; driven, proactive and hungry to succeed because you will be working with driven and capable individuals who view customer service, internal and external, as a given and who want to continue to see the business grow at more than 40% per annum. They need great finance people to help them to do this.
This role is a full-time position based in London (with hybrid working) and reporting to our Commercial Finance Manager.
As a Commercial Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts
- Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions
- Developing and monitoring key financial metrics and KPIs
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and procedures
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial alignment and risk mitigation
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA/other accounting qualification equivalent qualified
- +3 years proven experience in management accounting/experience in Big 4 accounting firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using Business Information systems such as Qlikview or PowerBI
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
