Community Relationship Manager

Location: Bromley

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time, with flexible and hybrid working options available

About the Role:

idverde is seeking a dedicated Community Relationship Manager to join our team in Bromley. In this role, you will engage with local communities, fostering strong relationships and supporting various environmental and community projects. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the green spaces and overall well-being of the neighbourhoods we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain robust relationships with community stakeholders. Mentor and empower local groups to achieve self-sustainability.
  • Site Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for sites within assigned neighbourhoods, addressing public inquiries and ensuring community-related key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address community concerns and participate in community-focused initiatives.
  • Project Support: Assist in small-scale fundraising efforts, draft management plans, and engage in local projects that positively impact multiple generations.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices related to volunteer and event management.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in prioritising multiple projects and meeting established KPIs.
  • Strong literacy and IT skills.
