We are looking for a Community, Stakeholder & Customer Lead to join our Infrastructure team in Thurrock, Lower Thames Crossing.
What you'll do:
- Drive and influence behaviours with stakeholders which help the scheme achieve its vision, mission, and strategy.
- Feed back to the Project Management Team stakeholder issues and concerns and help develop mitigation strategies and communication strategies to secure stakeholder satisfaction with progress.
- Lead a team of at least three competent personnel. Demonstrate people centric thought leadership with Customer and Stakeholder at the heart of the Kent Roads approach. (Initially an Individual Contributor role until nearer start of construction in 2027.)
- Collaborate with the Tunnels project team to interact with the Customer’s Customer in the most effective, efficient and accessible ways. Drive and collaborate in roadworks planning to put the customer at heart of everything we do. Recognise and codify how the project makes its customer and customer’s customer ‘feel’ and optimise customer satisfaction metrics.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Demonstratable experience and creative ability to manage external communications and messaging underpinned by a customer focus
- Knowledge of National Highways schemes and project management; experience of major roads projects
- High levels of resilience and adaptability
- Understanding of a competitive environment, customer needs and the ability to work creatively and lead with strategic goals
- Proven ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
