We wish to recruit a Company Accountant based at our Head Office in Newry. This is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a career within one of the UK and Ireland’s leading Independent merchants.
Key responsibilities for the Company Accountant will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual accounts
- Accounts reconciliations and financial analysis
- Supporting the annual financial budget process
- Report on activities, trends and results
Applications for the role of Company Accountant are invited from an individual who:
- Has experience of producing management accounts
- Has previously managed company bank accounts
- Has strong commercial and detail oriented approach to work
- Is results oriented with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Has great experience of Excel and Business Intelligence tools
- Has excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data
- Is a team player able to build relationships and work across teams
