Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Company Trainer to deliver training to supervisors as part of a custom-designed course. This is a fixed-term, 9-month contract role requiring regular travel across the UK. The Company Trainer will work closely with the core Learning and Development (L&D) team to ensure the successful delivery of tailored training programmes. Applicants must be highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable with extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person training to supervisors, ensuring all course materials are effectively communicated and understood.
  • Travel to multiple locations across the UK to conduct training sessions in line with the training schedule.
  • Facilitate tailored training sessions in alignment with the business requirements, ensuring consistency and high-quality delivery.
  • Work closely with the core L&D team to stay updated on training content, materials, and methodologies.
  • Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of different learner groups, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Provide feedback on training sessions, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement in content or delivery.
  • Monitor and assess participant progress, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting training attendance and outcomes to the HR Training and Development Manager.
  • Stay informed on relevant updates to the business to ensure training remains current and aligned with contract goals.
  • Ensure that all training materials and approaches adhere to company and client compliance standards.


Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a corporate or company trainer, with a focus on delivering tailored training programmes.
  • Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Conflict Management Level 3 certification is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK to deliver training on-site.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage participants and deliver content clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple training sessions across different locations.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with the L&D team and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in training supervisory or management-level staff is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt training delivery methods to suit different learning styles and audiences.
  • Proficient in using digital tools for reporting and managing training records.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in or delivering training for the public sector, particularly within government contracts.
  • Previous experience in travelling to multiple sites for training delivery.
