Competency Management System (CMS) Advisor on behalf of our client for a role based in Krechba, Algeria.

This position focuses on managing and reinstating the Competency Management System (CMS) across sites. Driving training initiatives, and supporting workforce competency development.
Job Responsibilities
- Train, guide, and manage assessors and verifiers, ensuring assessments meet required standards.
- Develop and enhance competency profiles, and implement structured training and development plans.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate training programs to address skills gaps and support organizational goals.
- Provide regular updates on competency program progress and meet key performance indicators.
- Train personnel in CMS procedures, assessment methods, and competency profile creation.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive oil and gas industry experience
- Certified Competency Assessor/Verifier (preferably OPITO or IHRDC accredited).
- Strong expertise in competency frameworks and management systems/software (e.g., ICAN, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (English required; French an advantage).
- Adaptable to remote and extreme working conditions.
Experience
- 10+ years in training and development, with 5+ years as a competency assessor.
- Leadership experience in developing and implementing competency frameworks.
- Skilled in coordinating and conducting training and assessment activities.
