Qualifications and Skills Required

• 1.5 - 4 years of post-qualified experience in UK or European competition law practice

• Strong academic record with a 2:1 degree (or equivalent)

• Excellent skills in legal drafting, negotiation, project management, and business development

• Understanding of law firm profitability and budget management

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  

Desired Skills and Experience

Advising on merger control, foreign direct investment (FDI), and antitrust compliance.

Supporting high-profile Phase 1 and Phase 2 merger reviews, including matters before UK and EU competition authorities.

Contributing to private enforcement litigation and appeals before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Liaising with international clients, regulators, and legal experts across multiple jurisdictions.

Assisting with internal legal research, marketing, and knowledge development initiatives.

Involved in major UK and EU competition matters, including CMA and EC investigations, FDI clearances, and multi-jurisdictional M&A activity.

Supported global clients across sectors such as tech, energy, retail, logistics, and manufacturing.

Worked on strategic appeals and follow-on damages claims stemming from cartel investigations.
