Role Description

Part-time positions for a Complex Care Staff Member at Josh's Care Company located in the United Kingdom. The staff member will be responsible for providing personalised care to individuals with complex needs, such as personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, continence care, exercise programs, and various specialist tasks like tracheostomy care and ventilator management.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing care for individuals with complex physical disabilities and spinal injuries
• Knowledge of tracheostomy care, catheter care, bowel care, and other specialized medical tasks is preferred.
• Ability to assist with artificial feeding, changing sterile dressings, and monitoring fluid input and output
• Training in ventilator management, skin management, and palliative care
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Certification in relevant healthcare courses like nursing or caregiving
• Understanding of autonomic dysreflexia, oral suctioning, and mechanical cough assistance
