About The Role

Compliance Officer

Permanent, Full Time

£26,860 up to £31,600 per annum

Location: Chelmsford

Working Style: Anywhere worker

Who are we?

The Essex Pension Fund is one of 86 pension funds which make up the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The LGPS is the largest defined benefit pension scheme in England and Wales with a fund value of over £340billion.

On its own, our Fund looks after 182,000 Scheme Members, over 800 Employers and is valued at over £11billion, placing us within the top 10 LGPS funds in the country.

Here are some of the things you would you be doing?

  • Using a suite of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Accountable for the Fund's Business Continuity activities
  • Contribute in the delivery of Fund consultations through Committee/Boards
  • Responsible for implementing the Fund's annual surveys for both Scheme Members and Scheme Employers
  • Responsible for drafting of generic content and compiling reports/agenda items
