Description
We are exclusively partnering with a U.S multi-strategy hedge fund to recruit a compliance officer in London. This role will support the global surveillance team, ensuring coverage across the EMEA and APAC regions, while working closely with the U.S. team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on daily trade and communications surveillance, providing expert advice across MAR topics
- Develop the surveillance program and undertake annual assessments
- Provide regulatory guidance on new products, strategies and investment decisions.
- Assist with position and transaction reporting requirements
- Assist with code of ethics, regulatory development and ad-hoc compliance matters.
Requirements
- 5 - 7+ years of compliance experience, either within a hedge fund, investment bank or exchange
- Expert market abuse knowledge and experience working with relevant systems
