Our client, a leading Formula 1 team, is currently seeking experienced Composite Fitters to join their dynamic team on an ongoing contract basis. For the right individuals, there's potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance and attitude.
- Assembling, trimming, and finishing high-performance composite components such as wings, bodywork, suspension parts, and floors
- Interpreting and following detailed engineering drawings and build specifications
- Carrying out bonding and surface preparation using adhesives, resins, and sealants
- Ensuring all work meets dimensional tolerances, cosmetic standards, and performance criteria
- Collaborating closely with engineering and inspection teams to resolve build issues
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety standards
- Supporting race build and development projects under tight time constraints
- Experience in F1 composite fitting, or significant experience in high-level motorsport
- Deep knowledge of composite materials, tools, and bonding techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
- Flexible, professional attitude and willingness to work long hours if required
