As the largest consultancy provider of environmental due diligence in the UK, our team work across a wide variety of projects; from single high-profile buildings in major cities, to very large UK-wide portfolios of assets – and we are seeking consultants with demonstrable experience to join us.

As a member of our specialist due diligence team you will be working in close collaboration with experts from across our business, developing your existing general understanding of the potential risks presented by contaminated land, flood risk, asbestos and energy efficiency legislation etc.

You will be encouraged and supported to actively contribute to team development and initiatives, and you will be assigned a senior mentor who will guide you in your career and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of desk studies and Phase I Assessments, including UK wide site visits. Site visits are typically half-day commitment.

  • Working in collaboration with team members and the wider business to provide robust technical advice to clients when considering complex sites with significant potential liabilities.
  • Opportunities to build your skill-set beyond environmental due diligence, through involvement in business development, project budgeting, business profile management etc – dependent upon your personal interests.

Qualifications

  • A relevant Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent (Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Geology etc)
  • Previous experience of delivering environmental due diligence assessments or contaminated land assessments (such as Phase I Assessments), ideally within a consultancy setting
  • A commitment to delivering technically robust, diligent reporting
  • Experience directly presenting report findings to clients in a timely and clear manner (i.e. client facing)
  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects under tight timescales
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm to self-develop and be a contributing member of a supportive team.
