Essential Skills And Experience
Ashurst Reach are recruiting an experienced lawyer with a strong background in capital markets, specifically debt capital markets (DCM), to join a leading Group Corporate Legal team on a 6-month contract basis. We are looking for consultant lawyers who can:
- Provide legal advice on issuer-side DCM transactions, with a particular focus on treasury-related work rather than investment bank-side mandates.
- Support internal funding and treasury transactions, including regulatory capital matters.
- Advise on internal governance issues as they relate to treasury and funding activities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in debt capital markets, gained either in private practice or through recent in-house roles.
- Demonstrable experience advising on issuer-side DCM transactions, ideally with exposure to treasury-side work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large legal department, focusing exclusively on treasury and funding
