This post is based at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, but with responsibility for services delivered in conjunction with the Breast Screening Service based at Hull.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Radiographic Practitioner in Breast Imaging to join the team within the Pink Rose Suite at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby. The post holder will play an essential role in the Breast Imaging Service, and should be conversant with all aspects of breast imaging, including ultrasound, interventions, mammography & mammographic image interpretation. The post will also include stereotactic procedures and open access/family history assessments, and opportunity to undertake Breast MRI reporting for a suitably trained candidate.
The breast imaging team is a small, dedicated and friendly team undertaking symptomatic breast work for the North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Goole regions. The Breast Imaging team undertakes approximately 5,500 mammograms and 7,600 ultrasound examinations per year. The team works with the breast surgical team to provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary service and works closely with the Humberside Breast Screening Service.
