Contentious Legal Counsel - Financial Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a litigation and regulatory lawyer with a background in financial services to join an ever-growing Bank, on a permanent basis.

Hybrid, 3 days in the London Office.

The role:

• Managing contentious regulatory matters across the bank
• Handling insurance claims, consumer claims and indemnity claims
• Inbound and outbound litigation
• Professional negligence
• Working closely with senior stakeholders

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years’ PQE England & Wales or Commonwealth (if Commonwealth, must have at least 2 years’ experience working as a lawyer in the UK)
• In-house experience essential (secondments included)
• Background in litigious regulatory matters and insurance claims
• Able to handle intricate debt recovery matters
• Hard worker and a self-starter
