Contract Manager

As a Contracts Manager at Sony Music Entertainment, you will be at the heart of our central Legal & Business Affairs department, with a focus on drafting, negotiating and concluding a range of legal agreements, with a fast-paced turnaround across multiple stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Advise and respond on Catalogue artist enquiries
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on video production agreements
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on photographer, artwork agreements
• Drafting (and advising on) terms and conditions for prize draws
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on performance release forms

Who you are

• Previous record company experience, given the specialist music business knowledge required
• Ability to demonstrate experience of autonomously negotiating terms and concluding these types of contracts
• Thorough understanding of copyright law, and ability to analyse new industry developments
• Ability to be proactive in problem-solving, and to take a solutions-oriented approaches
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage workload to achieve tight delivery turnaround tim
• Consistent attention to detail and thorough approach to drafting, negotiating and concluding contracts
