Counter Manager- Maison Francis Kurkdjian Travel Retail
Main Mission
The Counter Manager is the brand representative on their counter.
- They are responsible for the achievement of the counter sales targets, the respect of the brand image and the level of service delivered to customers.
- They ensure day-to-day management of the counter and stimulates the team performance.
- As a member of the MFK team, they represent the brand values towards the customers and colleagues and demonstrates an MFK attitude at all times.
- They are in charge of the application of any retail management tools.
Job Responsibilities
Key Activities
Retail Sales Development:
- Ensure achievement of the counter sales and targets from daily to weekly & monthly basis and of corporate objectives,
- Set and follow up individual and collective objectives, on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure realisation of the following administrative tasks: stock management (at store level followed by RM support), sales analysis, reporting of MFK and competition,
- Organize and optimize shift planning
- Ensure efficient communication and reporting to RM,
- Seek further opportunities for the brand and share them with RM
- Follow up incentive plans to achieve retail objectives
Team management:
- Communicate corporate strategy and goals to the team,
- Manage and motivate all the team members on a daily & long term basis using retail management tools,
- Ensure the development of the MFK team members through regular coaching support, training follow up and appraisals,
- Lead by example on all counter activities and rules, and achieve high quality personal sales (Ready-to-Retail, grooming, product knowledge…),
- Guarantee the respect of corporate & counter rules as well as store discipline and security procedures
Brand image, marketing & merchandising:
- Guarantee the respect of MFK brand standards on all its aspects: image, merchandising, in store communication plan, assortments, novelty presence, BC grooming, posture, Ready-to-Retail and product knowledge,
- Ensure counter cleanliness at all times and communicate any maintenance issues to RM
- Tester & POSM management and storage,
- Ensure the highest level of service is delivered to customers and develop customer loyalty
- Represent MFK and develop relations with store management
Animations management (when/if applicable):
- Ensure animation successful planning, roll out & results
- Ensure correct merchandising is followed and adequate stock & testers are available
- Achieve targets set, through team and staff management
