The children, staff, Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable Senior Educational Teaching Assistant to fulfil the role of Cover Supervisor and to play a key role in the development of our school.

We are looking to increase capacity within the teaching and learning team in school. As part of this development we wish to appoint a cover supervisor to be responsible for covering and delivering prepared lessons, from Nursery to Year 6, in the absence of the class teacher.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, a great team player with excellent communication skills and will be responsible for the development of effective mentoring relationships with both children and their parents.
We welcome applications both from experienced cover supervisors or from those with other relevant experience of working with children or young people who can demonstrate their ability to engage children and fulfil the job specification. The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
