• Responsible for trading Covered Bonds in EUR and USD supporting our primary underwriting activity and servicing investors across Europe. Several years of experience in the products are necessary, as well as knowledge of issuers and institutional investors. Collaborate with the Global Fixed Income Trading Manager in defining the trading strategy under his/ her responsibility, focusing on meeting internal and external customers’ needs and complying with the risk and regulatory requirements.
• Generate recurrent income in order to meet the revenues targets that are set each year.
• Follow up and supervision of on-going trading activity, helping in solving problems and bottlenecks as needed.
• Support the bonds market making activity, quoting the most relevant transactions, as required. Manage the approval for operations that exceed given risk limits. Focus on promoting the excellence in the service offered to the clients.
• Coordinate and align with other Global Markets desks and internal areas. Foster the collaboration with the Sales desks to set commercial targets for different products and with other Global Rates trading desks in order to mainstream the market knowledge and create synergies in the operations’ profitability and risk management.
• Lead a key role in promoting the bank's positioning within the covered bonds flow business, meeting external customers and encouraging the innovation and efficiency within the team and stakeholders, with the objective to add value to the customers.
• Take part in specific working groups and projects related to the business. Focus on the analysis of the impact and implications of the markets’ regulatory reforms in the trading tools, valuation models and operating processes.
• Ensure that desks activity complies with both internal and external operational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Engineering, STEM, Economics with a quantitative profile.
• At least 10 years of previous experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Team player.
• Good communication skills.
