Credit Controller x2 Fixed-Term-Contract 6 Months
Based: Hemel Hempstead
Department: Finance
Reporting to: Accounts Receivable Manager
Contract: 6 month Fixed-Term-Contract
This role is responsible for the collection of debt, operating within Company policy, targets and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for your own ledger as allocated by the Account Receivable Manager.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with each account using a variety of communication mediums including telephone and email contact.
- Ensure that aged debts are kept within department targets, by following the credit control collection process.
- Escalate any delinquent accounts to the Credit Controller Lead.
- Liaison with internal customers to resolve queries leading to receipt of monies.
- Credit Check new and existing customers.
- Provide monthly updates on all overdue accounts.
- Support and undertake all process improvements of the area
- The jobholder will assume responsibility for related duties as reasonably requested or assigned.
- The jobholder will be responsible for keeping management informed of area of activities and any significant problems.
- To provision assistance to all other members of the team as required or requested by the Accounts Receivable Manager
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Previous experience within a similar role
- At least 1 years experience in Credit Control
- High volume low value invoice experience
- Have run and are able to read Credit Reports
- Excel skills
