Social Worker – Permanence Service
We are seeking Social Workers who are inspired by our Corporate Parenting vision that ‘The ‘Sky is the Limit’ for all of our children and young people. You will be an experienced social worker who is aspirational for our children and will work closely with partners to achieve the best outcomes for children through high quality care and pathway plans.
We are committed to maintaining manageable caseloads so that you develop strong relationships with our children and young people in order to support them in the ways they have told us are important to them. You will ensure children’s voices are at the heart of everything you do.
We know that best practice takes the best Social Workers; you will join a supportive team and have access to good quality supervision, You can expect to have your learning prioritised and be given opportunities for career development and progression, including access to a comprehensive offer from our Social Work Academy. This includes for practitioners to progress their careers in Plymouth through progression to an Advanced Practitioner or access to a management development programme for those who want to develop their career in this way. You will receive a competitive salary and a generous annual leave entitlement.
