An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrative Casework Officer to work in our Inclusion and Welfare team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player to be the first point of contact for parents/carers, Head Teachers, departmental staff and other service users for matters relating to exclusion, Fair Access (reintegration admissions), children missing education, child performance and employment, home education and pupil attendance. You will be responsible for maintaining an overview of these areas of work by coordinating the delivery of specific tasks and ensuring compliance with service expectations and completion of tasks within set timescales.
As a Casework Officer, you will work within a small business support team within the Inclusion, Attendance and Welfare Service and be part of a wider Children’s Services Team who is responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and will support integrated working practices across children’s services. You will be required to carry specialised administrative tasks and develop and maintain administrative systems to provide effective and efficient business support to the Inclusion, Attendance and Welfare Service. You will ensure that data is accurately recorded, maintained, reviewed and amended so that the coordination of processes is compliant with service standards in addition to undertaking business support casework in relation to children and young people who fall within the scope of the Inclusion, Attendance and Welfare Service.
