Salary: £550 per day inside IR35

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to join our team within a leading insurance company based in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis with a focus on cyber security within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into cyber security solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure the implementation of appropriate security controls.
• Develop and document detailed business and functional requirements for security projects.
• Provide guidance on cyber security policies, compliance (GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.), and best practices.
• Assist in managing incident response and ensuring effective security measures are in place.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes and systems, including data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and security objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an insurance company, with a strong understanding of the industry’s cyber security needs.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical issues to non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing business and security requirements.
