Job Description
As a CyberArk Architect SME, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations of CyberArk’s privileged access management (PAM) solutions with various enterprise systems and applications. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and run operations of CyberArk components, enhancing the security and efficiency of privileged access management across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Define and develop CyberArk service architecture aligned with security frameworks
- Design and implement integrations of CyberArk PAM solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and cloud environments, including Vault, CPM, PVWA, and PSM
- Lead the integration and optimization of CyberArk solutions within existing IT infrastructure
- Establish best practices, governance models, and operating procedures for CyberArk services
- Provide architectural oversight and technical leadership for CyberArk implementation projects
- Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
- Engage with stakeholders to drive service improvements
- Develop custom connectors, APIs, and scripts to facilitate integration between CyberArk components and other IT systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory, SIEM solutions, ITSM)
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration strategies, and provide technical expertise throughout the integration lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with support teams and CyberArk vendors if necessary
- Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices for internal and client reference
- Provide training and technical guidance to client teams and junior operations team members on integrating and maintaining CyberArk solutions
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to privileged access management and integration methodologies
- Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and baselines
- Implement security policies and procedures as defined by Risk, Audit, and IT Security teams
- Maintain SC (Security Check) clearance and adhere to all relevant security protocols
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations involving CyberArk PAM solutions in complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols, APIs, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools for integration tasks
- Experience with enterprise systems such as IAM solutions, directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory), and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues related to integrations
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Engineering experience with other PAM products such as Delinea (formerly Centrify), BeyondTrust
- Strong experience as a PAM consultant, including client-facing presentation and collaboration
Desirable Skills
- Relevant CyberArk certifications (e.g., Defender, Sentry, or Guardian)
- Experience with cloud-based CyberArk integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Pre-sales experience desirable, particularly in RFP response & proposals
