Job Overview
About The Role
At AO, we're all about making things better - for our customers, our people, and our tech. And when it comes to business systems, we don’t just plug in a solution and walk away. We’re on a mission to transform how we work with Dynamics 365 at the heart of it all.
We're looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant who lives and breathes Finance and Warehouse Management (WMS) modules. You’ll be right at the centre of our ERP journey - gathering requirements, designing smart solutions, and helping us evolve how we use tech across the business.
You’ll join a growing team that’s not afraid of change and passionate about pushing our platform forward. There’s lots of opportunity to learn, stretch your skills and help shape how we do things - all while supported with training, tools and the chance to get those all-important Microsoft certifications.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Work side-by-side with teams in Finance, Warehousing and IT to understand how they operate and help make their processes smoother, faster and smarter.
- Translate business needs into functional solutions using D365 F&O and WMS - you’ll map out processes, design systems and lead on delivering change.
- Be the go-to person for functional support across Finance and WMS modules - troubleshooting problems, solving issues, and keeping things running.
- Take charge of configurations, updates, and enhancements - you’ll be hands-on with the system and focused on continuous improvement.
- Drive user adoption by creating training materials, running sessions, and making sure everyone gets the best out of our ERP tools.
- Lead on testing efforts - from writing scripts to spotting bugs - making sure everything works before it goes live.
- Keep up with what’s new in Dynamics 365 - you’ll bring fresh ideas and help us stay ahead of the game.
- Support others in the team - sharing knowledge, mentoring junior consultants, and leading by example.
A Few Things About You
- You’ve got at least 5 years’ experience as a D365 Functional Consultant, with solid knowledge of Finance and WMS modules.
- You know financial processes like the back of your hand - think GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets - and you understand warehouse ops inside out.
- You’re confident configuring systems, spotting ways to improve, and turning business requirements into functional specs.
- You’re a team player and a problem-solver - you work well with others and know how to get things done.
- You’ve worked in fast-paced, agile environments and you're comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- You’ve supported D365 users, managed incidents, and worked with tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- PowerApps experience is a big plus, and if you’ve dabbled in Power BI or have Microsoft certifications, even better.
A Bit About Us
When it comes to appliances and electricals, we’ve got the lot. Washing machines? Yep. TVs? Check. Laptops? Absolutely. Everything except doorbells (just kidding, we’ve got those too).
We’re known for helping our customers brilliantly - and it’s no different for AOers. We care about more than what’s on your CV, because together we can do extraordinary things.
