You will work closely with the daily editors and the deputy daily editor to implement a content strategy that delivers against both House Beautiful and Country Living’s brand and business objectives.

You’ll be an enthusiastic, creative, digitally savvy writer with at least one-two years’ experience writing for a publication or brand.
About The Role
- Pitch and create best-in-class blended content that drives digital reach and engagement of our target audience, balancing editorial excellence, revenue generation, and brand priorities.
- Write content for the CL and HB website, apps, socials and newsletters, ensuring consistent tone. Content includes daily news, features, campaigns, SEO updates and newsletter inclusions, wherever possible in support of the CL artisans and the products that they sell on the marketplace
- Assisting in creating multi-channel content
- To able to write clean copy that has authority, excellent grammar, structure and tone at a quick pace.
- Work closely with the brand team and CofE specialists (SEO, Social, Homes and Video) to ensure a blended content approach that is multifunctional, efficient and works towards brand vision.
- Work into the newsletter strategy and help to build the weekly newsletters.
- Contribute to social content to work across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, and work closely with the central social team to optimise opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Work closely with central SEO team to ensure best practice.
- Work into a content calendar to maintain an overview of cross-platform content.
- Work with key stakeholders in the Hearst Homes hub ensuring print, digital, marketplace, events and licensing content is collaborative and multichannel.
- Use analytics tools to create reports where necessary, and use data to adjust, mould and accelerate the brand strategy.
- Forecast trends within a digital landscape to support brand growth and audience development.
About You
- A proven track record of excellent idea generation, pitching and writing.
- A proven track record of working on multiple digital brands. The ability to multi-task, remaining calm and professional under pressure.
- An aligned interest with Country Living and House Beautiful content, including style and interiors, homes and gardens, sustainability, wildlife and artisans.
- Comfortable using Google Analytics and other insight tools to inform content.
- A solid knowledge of both SEO and E-commerce
- A thorough understanding of social platforms ranging from Facebook and Instagram, to TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, and how to use them to grow brand.
- An excellent team player with proven collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and social media content creation tools
- Basic video editing skills.
