Data Analyst

Data Analyst | Investment Product Experience Essential | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid | Central London | Circa £600-£700/day

We are currently partnered with a long-standing Investment client, looking to source for them 2 outstanding Data Analysts. They are looking for strong analysts with experience in SQL, Python, Excel and other tools who also have deep understanding of investment products such as fixed income, derivatives, swaps etc.

The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must be able to profile data, understand complex financial products, and troubleshoot data migration issues
• Supporting a large-scale migration project moving investment data to a new platform
• Ensuring data integrity, resolving mapping issues and improving logic
• Develop clear visualisations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion

Experience

• Essential experience in data analysis through SQL, Python, Excel
• Essential experience in investment products such as Fixed income and Derivatives
• Deep knowledge of Aladdin or Murex
• Ability to understand product valuations and cash flow calculations

Logistics

• 6-Month contract at circa £600-£700/day
• Central London office, 3 days on-site and 2 WFH
