About The Role
As the Industry Leader, Abbott’s Diabetes Care business designs, develops, and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes.
The site, and its Statistics team, has been instrumental in the research, development, and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System and continues to work on a strong pipeline of products in development. We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people’s lives. Joining us, you can do work that truly matters.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst II to join our R&D team. In this role, you would be joining a vibrant, friendly, and diverse group, and can expect to work across a varied range of projects supporting the development of our pipeline products.
Main Responsibilities
You will need to have good oral and written communication skills to be able to collaborate with different people within the department, prepare reports, interpret results, and provide effective summaries for specialist and non-specialist audiences. You must be organized and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail to ensure that data and analyses are accurate. Programming experience is required, and a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject plus industry-based experience would be advantageous.

- Routine Data Generation and Analysis: Responsible for the routine data generation and analysis within R&D.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in and present results/updates in appropriate cross-functional teams.
