What You’ll Do
- Work with a broad stack of AWS services: S3, AWS Glue, Glue Catalog, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and more.
- Develop and implement robust data quality checks using DQ libraries.
- Lead efforts in data modeling and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
- Build and automate ETL workflows using Informatica, Python, and Unix scripting.
- Apply DevOps and Agile methodologies, including use of CI/CD tools and code repositories.
- Engineer scalable big data solutions with Hadoop and Apache Spark.
- Design impactful dashboards using Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Work extensively on PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
- Integrate real-time data pipelines with StreamSets and Kafka.
- Drive data sourcing strategies, including real-time integration solutions.
- Spearhead cloud migration efforts to Snowflake and Azure Data Lake, including data transitions from on-premise environments.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and modern ETL technologies.
- Solid programming experience in Python and Unix.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, quality frameworks, and reporting tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using version control/CI pipelines.
- Exposure to big data frameworks, real-time integration tools, and cloud data platforms.
