Are you a passionate Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience? Do you thrive in cloud environments, building scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions? If so, we want to hear from you!
At Reward, we’re on a mission to make everyday spending more rewarding. We’re looking for a talented Data Engineer to help us design, develop, and maintain our cloud-based data infrastructure. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and Product Owners to migrate ETL processes and data warehouses, while developing pipelines for reporting, data monetisation, and large-scale data processing.
What You’ll Do
✅ Build and optimise ETL processes and reporting data sources
✅ Design & implement scalable data warehouses and data lakes in AWS
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
✅ Write and optimise SQL queries for performance and efficiency
✅ Automate workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs
✅ Ensure data quality and best coding practices through peer reviews
✅ Provide clear documentation for data pipelines and processes
What You Bring
🔹 2+ years working with large-scale relational databases (500,000+ customers)
🔹 Strong knowledge of SQL, indexing, normalisation & query optimisation
🔹 Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
🔹 Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Glue, Lambda, S3, Jupyter Notebooks)
🔹 Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
🔹 Clear, structured approach to documentation
