Position:
The Data Lead will provide comprehensive support to both the Savings division and the Marketing function, ensuring data is understood, controlled and suitable for business and wider stakeholder consumption.
They will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and maintenance of the division’s Tableau report suite, ensuring its accuracy and integrity, to support business intelligence and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in producing/owning Data Quality reporting
- Strong understanding of Data Management frameworks & approaches
- Good Tableau and SQL knowledge
- Analytical mind, critical thinker, and problem solver
- Hold at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent) at least Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
Other information:
- Build, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards to support business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored solutions to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all data visualisations and reporting outputs.
- Provide training and support to team members on using Tableau and interpreting reports.
- To lead the development and implementation of the bank’s data strategy within Savings and Marketing, representing the division on the Bank’s Data Committee.
- To work alongside internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of data-led initiatives within the bank, in particular leading the division’s workstream for ongoing compliance with GDPR.
- To help develop and nurture the data literacy of people within the team.
- To drive process design to maintain and improve data quality, including data cleansing activities where needed.
- To support operational leads in building strong procedures and controls around data entry and quality.
- To discover and document data-lineage to trace the end-to-end data journey from point of creation to consumption, maintaining the divisions ROPA mapping.
