Data Migration Analyst
Location: London Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office

The Ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of the migration of data from various sources. To Analyse, clean and map data to ensure the new system can interpret the data correctly. Coordinate with stakeholders. Execute data migration routines. Conduct data audits. Document all data migration processes to provide regular updates working collaboratively with the project team to provide regular updates.
The day to day:
- Work closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts, data owners, and IT teams, to understand the data migration requirements. This involves determining what data needs to be migrated, the source and target systems, data formats, and any specific business rules or transformation requirements.
- Extract data from the source system using appropriate tools and methods. This may involve writing SQL queries, using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, or other data extraction techniques.
- Communicate progress and issues to project stakeholders, including project managers, business users, and IT teams. Provide regular updates and escalate any critical issues as needed.
- Seek opportunities to improve data migration processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance data quality.
About you:
- Data Migration: Help us manage critical data migration tasks.
- Ideally you will have experience with Acturis, a leading insurance broking system.
- Use SQL and data manipulation languages to extract insights from data.
- ETL: Learn about ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes in data integration.
- Insurance Sector Experience: Leverage your knowledge of the insurance sector to make an impact.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop your skills in effectively managing stakeholders.
