Data Migration Reconciliation Lead
Job Purpose
Lead functional consultant responsible for extraction, transformation, load and reconciliation (ETLR) of commercial and financial data required to facilitate the delivery of the Finance Transformation programme, primarily into Oracle Fusion ERP but also other business applications.
Dimensions
Drive, facilitate and control ETLR lifecycles of data migration from heritage systems into Oracle Fusion ERP and influencing stakeholders as required.
Principal Accountabilities
- Agree and define the scope of the Data Migration
- Understand the commercial and financial target system data requirements (Oracle Fusion ERP)
- Conduct workshops with the business to agree source to target mappings
- Define the data extract requirements from the source systems and obtain business approval
- Define the `Transformation’ requirements and ensure that documentation is completed.
- Define the scope of data migration – Master, Standing and Transactional Data.
- Perform commercial and financial reconciliations on behalf of the business and obtain approval for deployment
- Assist with the resolution of data migration defects
- Manage and work with the technical teams to extract and validate the required data from source systems primarily but not exclusively

- Deliver data for load to ERP
- Provide the Oracle Implementation Partner (CTS) with the data sets required for Load to the new Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application)
- Manage the Oracle Implementation Partner (CTS) on technical reconciliation of the ETLR process
- Perform iterative commercial and financial reconciliations in line with project data migration cycles and cutover schedules.
Manage Data Defects- Assist with the resolution of data migration defects
- Status reporting – Provide weekly updates, dashboard and statistics to facilitate the exit of programme stage gates
- Governance – Ensure business approval at all stages is obtained and evidenced to the programme PMO office.
- Business / Programme Liaison – Work closely with the Transformation Leads, and Business Readiness teams to ensure programme success.

Experience Required
The individual can demonstrate:
- Experience of complex Data migration projects (especially Oracle fusion ERP)
- Understand The Oracle Fusion Data Architecture
- Strong commercial and financial data reconciliation experience within an Oracle ERP project context
- Status report management
- Workshop organisation
- Experience of complex programmes
- Strong understanding of core finance processes
- Experience in a Finance/technology/software business an advantage
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel internationally
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple deadlines
Technical Knowledge:
- ETLR methods for Data migration within Tier 1 heritage to Oracle ERP systems
- Functional understanding of data migration components in a large transformation programme, preferably Oracle ERP
- Sound understanding of data migration, data cleansing techniques adopted
- Sound understanding of commercial and financial transformation reconciliation
- Good understanding of disparate source systems especially SQL Database and SAP from where the data will be extracted
- Sound understanding of middle-ware tools

Hybrid working
