Lloyd’s are seeking to recruit a Data Senior Associate, you will be the point of contact for the Markets Division and act as a single point of contact for their data needs. To help teams identify, analyse and resolve data opportunities by using their technical knowledge and working with business and technical teams in order to drive projects through to completion.

Principal Accountabilities

Maintain Lloyd’s internal data information platform, ensuring updates are timely and the information portrayed is relevant and useful

Engage with senior stakeholders, to understand their current data landscape and whether there are any opportunities for improvements

Concept and technical scope all data change opportunities within markets which are necessary for the development of data and reporting related products and services.

Responsible for prioritising, managing and resourcing (when required) the Markets Data Change backlog

Assist on strategic projects as a Markets data subject matter expert, providing insight and expertise when required

Manage the relationship between Markets and the data team to allow for consistent approaches and adherence to Lloyd’s standards

Align with Markets Small Change model ensuring consistency in approach and transparency across markets.

Be the Markets representative for various working groups, feeding this information back to teams when relevant.

Upskill markets members to improve data literacy and run sessions to ensure members are passing Lloyd’s minimum standards to use reporting tools. (to be discussed)

Ensure Dynamics Data Quality is maintained working with key internal data owners to address gaps in quality giving consideration to GDPR compliance

Maintain Markets Qlik Explorer information ensuring updates are timely and the information portrayed is relevant and useful and lead on granting Markets colleagues the right access to the right data.

Skills Knowledge And Experience

Data analysis and visualisation skills (e.g. Excel, Qlik, Business Objects)

IT literacy with the ability to learn how to use new software solutions.

Understanding of the insurance / reinsurance industry would be beneficial

Customer-centric and self-starter mentality.

Influencing skills.

Ability to build deep, broad, and effective business relationships with internal stakeholders.

Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, and evolving technologies.

Ability to problem solve

PowerPoint presentation skills and ability to present ideas in a succinct and compelling manner.

Experience in managing high workloads and producing workable solutions that meet the immediate demands of the situation(s).

Experience of stakeholder management

Experience of working collaboratively within a team to deliver high quality output.

Experience of providing efficient support to senior leadership.
