This role will be part of the global data team for Dechra, helping to roll out global standards for data governance and maintaining compliance with these standards. This role will work across functions and divisions within Dechra and play a key role in implementing Dechra's data first strategy.


The Opportunity

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Create and maintain master data objects at global level within the Oracle Cloud and other solutions including Items and Suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with the business's quality, financial and regulatory policies.
  • Support the business users in preparing and submitting accurate information regarding the different data objects.
  • Guide users across the business and any stakeholders through the relevant master data procedures.
  • Maintain the integrity of the master data at the global level.
  • Train and educate new business users of the correct master data processes as needed.
  • Work closely with local teams to support the integrity of the data at all levels of the business.
  • Contribute where needed to the wider data enterprise across other areas of the Dechra business and IT applications.
  • Own the standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding master data and reviewing and updating accordingly at regular intervals.
  • Raise and own change controls for master data.

  • Knowledge of best practice in programme, project and change management


Additional Information:

  • Can be based near our Head office in Northwich, Cheshire or our Commercial office in Shrewsbury
  • Hybrid working
