Are you an Occupational Therapist (OT), Social Worker (SW), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) seeking a new challenge? Or looking to grow into a leadership role within a community health team?

We have the perfect role for you as a Deputy Team Manager in the Chiltern West Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). You'll become an integral part of our experienced and dedicated leadership team, providing exceptional clinical and managerial guidance to the team. You will also collaborate with a dynamic group of managers and Consultant Psychiatrists to create a supportive and empowering environment for the wider team.

  • Undertake clinical and operational responsibilities within the Adult Mental Health Team, using systems to document activities and manage caseloads.
  • Assist in managing and developing the team, including recruiting staff and implementing services, ensuring team members are trained.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a performance management system, to monitor performance and generate reports.
  • Line manage, supervise, and appraise key workers, ensuring their professional development is maintained and activities.
  • Ensure effective joint working with statutory and voluntary agencies, using systems to coordinate interagency projects and ensure responsive service delivery.

The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
