Addleshaw Goddard (AG) is excited to announce a career opportunity for a Derivatives Lawyer with over 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our dynamic London Structured Finance Team. This role is an invitation for ambitious professionals to become part of a growing team of experts in a thriving practice area.
Role Overview:
The appointed Derivatives Lawyer will engage in a wide array of derivatives instructions, encompassing finance-linked hedging, credit derivatives, equity, commodities, FX, and collateral. This includes variation margin and initial margin projects, as well as bespoke arrangements supporting longevity insurance/reinsurance transactions. The successful candidate will negotiate critical trading documents, such as ISDA Master Agreements and GMRAs, and provide regulatory advice in relation to EMIR, MiFID, and SFTR. This role comes at a time of significant growth for the practice, highlighted by recent panel appointments and new instructions.

The AG Derivatives practice is part of the firm’s Structured Finance & Securitisation team, led by the renowned Rachel Kelly. With over 30 years of experience, the team has established itself as a leader in the field since joining AG in April 2020. Collaboration is at the heart of our practice, working closely with teams across Financial Services Transactions, Financial Regulation & Compliance, and Insurance. This expansion reflects a period of success and the opportunity to contribute to a burgeoning practice area within the firm.
