We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Despatch Operator to join our dynamic team in Wrexham for a
10-month contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Despatch Department, guaranteeing that all products are shipped accurately, at the correct temperature, and on time to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately prepare all UK and Export orders.
- Prepare documentation and labels to ensure accurate despatch of products.
- Book transportation and be ready to load when required (Forklift Truck experience preferred)
- Liaise with other sites for order processing and distribution requirements.
- Pack finished products, clinical trials, and sample shipments, adhering to relevant regulations.
- Arrange miscellaneous and sample shipments with applicable couriers, ensuring compliance with customer and Dangerous Goods requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Despatch experience – picking and packing for shipment
- Experience of manual handling/heavy lifting preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and ideally SAP
- Proactive, accountable, able to switch priorities and multi-task
