Thistle Seafoods is looking for a Development Chef to join our NPD team. The successful candidate will work as part of a team who are focused on creating and developing new market ready products for current and new customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new viable market ready products in line with current market trends.
• Presenting and demonstrating new products to existing and new customers.
• Maintaining all relevant paperwork.
• Contributing to the overall commercial strategy and growth of the business.
• Any ad hoc duties required to ensure the NPD kitchen runs effectively.
  
  

Candidates must be creative and innovative thinkers, who have a sound understanding of consumer trends and be able to present their ideas and products to our customers. They must also have the ability to take a product concept and apply this to factory processes and be able to work cross functionally with other departments.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a kitchen or in product development is required nad candidates must have an understanding of ingredients and nutrition.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm.
