Digital Learning Lead

Open to most GTUK locations + hybrid working

This team is focussed on enhancing and transforming the design and delivery of learning across the organisation. Collectively, we encompass industry technical experience with expertise in education, technology, and creativity to deliver engaging, effective, and innovative learning.

A look into the role

As a Digital Learning Lead within our Learning Innovation team, you will:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Digital Learning Strategy aligned to the latest trends and technologies; ensuring our firm remains at the forefront of innovation
  • Use instructional design best practices, AI tools, graphic design, and video production skills to create engaging and inclusive digital learning content
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and interactive eLearning content using appropriate authoring tools and platforms
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback to continuously improve eLearning offerings
  • Manage content lifecycle & governance to ensure our learning remains relevant, effective and compliant with Continuing Professional Development requirements
  • analyse content performance, create reports, and leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimise learning content and make informed decisions about future content development and updates
  • Lead and manage digital learning projects, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and digital vendors
  • Act as a subject matter expert on digital learning best practices and technologies
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Manage relationships and tenders with external digital learning vendors, including LMS, content and tool providers, handling escalations, maintaining ongoing communication, and ensuring they meet service expectations and SLAs


Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Digital Learning Lead, the minimum criteria you’ll need is:


  • Proven creativity and innovation in designing digital learning experiences
  • Extensive experience in digital instructional design
  • Proficiency with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360 and Camtasia
  • Proven record of championing and implementing the use of digital learning curricula


It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.


  • Good knowledge of SCORM and web technologies (HTML5, Java script, CSS)
  • A global mindset and the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, languages, and geographies
  • Strong knowledge and experience of learning theories, assessments, and evaluation methods, and a thorough understanding of Adult Learning Principles
  • Ability to analyse and assess learning needs and outcomes
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with SMEs and other stakeholders
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Experience of managing learning design teams
