The Digital Marketing Specialist (FTC) is responsible for supporting with the management of our websites across MotoNovo and Aldermore. You’ll be helping to create, update and optimise our web content, via a CMS, to support with product changes, launching new campaigns, making improvements to our user journeys and generally to meet the operational needs of the business. We are also in the process of refreshing some of our brand assets, so you will be heavily involved in this project and helping to deliver the new suite of assets across the Aldermore website. There may also be a requirement to manage some of our social media channels.
This is an exciting & fast paced role. You will be supported by a wonderful team of specialists who’ll ensure you get the help you need to succeed. In this role you will apply and further develop your understanding of core digital topics, such user experience (UX), search engine optimisation (SEO) and web analytics (GA4). What will your day look like?
You will be supporting with the management of our websites across MotoNovo and Aldermore, working closely with our digital content lead. The core responsibilities include:
- Supporting the digital content manager with delivering content requests across our various websites. This includes building new pages, optimising and updating existing content, building campaigns, blogs and supporting with product and rate changes, amongst other tasks.
- Primary responsibility for managing the content across our 5 Motor web domains, working in our Content Management Systems (Prismic CMS) to prepare web content and deliver against briefs.
- Working with business stakeholders to get clarity on requests and necessary approvals for web content to be published.
- Reactive website updates to support the operational and regulatory needs of the business, including notifications / alerts and FAQs.
- Supporting with updates to our website including updating our brand assets (imagery, documents, tone of voice) and helping to build out new pages and content as needed.
- Depending on the brief, produce and write content that is on-brand, user friendly, optimised for search and compliant.
What do we expect from you?
We’re looking for candidates who’ll bring their experience of working in digital content teams and a positive “can do” attitude to the role.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS). We use an Umbraco and Prismic CMS (respectively), but general experience of using other systems is fine.
- A good understanding and application of digital fundamentals, including SEO, web analytics and UX.
- Experience of working in a regulated and compliance-driven organisation/industry is beneficial (financial services or otherwise).
- Highly organised and structured in terms of how you manage your workload.
- Proactive self-starter willing to work independently and manage your own workload.
