Connect to your opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data & AI specialist with a passion for transforming the real estate industry through the power of data, traditional AI, and GenAI. In this role, you will lead transformational engagements, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive data-driven decision making within a dynamic and rapidly evolving sector.

As a Data and AI Leader, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking the strategic value of data for our real estate clients, leveraging both the analytical power of traditional AI and the creative potential of GenAI. Your key responsibilities will include:

Data Strategy & Governance: Guide major real estate organisations in developing and implementing robust data strategies and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. This includes advising on and implementing AI and GenAI governance frameworks specific to the real estate industry, addressing ethical implications, bias detection, and responsible use of these technologies.

Data Analysis & Insights: Lead complex data analysis projects, incorporating both traditional AI techniques for pattern recognition and prediction, and GenAI capabilities for generating novel insights and scenarios, to inform strategic decision-making related to real estate investments, operations, and sustainability. This will involve leveraging AI and machine learning for analysing large real estate datasets, identifying investment opportunities, optimising building operations, and assessing environmental impact, while also exploring the use of GenAI for scenario planning, predictive modelling, and generating alternative investment strategies.

Data Visualisation & Reporting: Develop compelling data visualisations and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders. Leverage traditional AI for data analysis and pattern identification, and enhance these insights with GenAI-driven narratives, simulations, and interactive visualisations, facilitating data-driven decision-making. This will involve utilising AI-powered data visualisation tools alongside GenAI capabilities to create dynamic dashboards and reports that provide insights into real estate market trends, property valuations, and investment performance.

AI/GenAI Solution Development: Lead the development and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions tailored to specific real estate use cases. Utilise traditional AI for tasks such as property valuation modelling, predictive maintenance of buildings, and tenant risk analysis. Explore and implement GenAI solutions for applications like automated content generation for marketing and legal documents, creating virtual property tours, and generating synthetic data for training and testing AI models.

Business Development: Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities related to data analytics, AI, and GenAI within the real estate sector. This will include identifying and developing new AI and GenAI-driven product and service offerings for real estate clients, leveraging your expertise to expand Deloitte's market presence in both traditional AI and GenAI for real estate.

Building the practice: As the Director in our team, you will work as part of a team of Real Estate specialists in our practice and have the opportunity to take a leading role on projects, managing and developing our more junior team members. Our Directors also actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of the Real Estate team, including leading on proposition development and thought leadership.
