Our team in EMEA currently has an opening for a Director Industry Market Management CASE & Construction
This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere within the EMEA region.
Manage Industry Market Managers to ensure agreed business objectives and supplier relationship management
Direct and manage Key Supplier Relationships
Develop annual Budgets and agree with Regional Leadership
Deliver GP growth according to the approved annual Budget and mutually agreed suppliers plans
Run communications initiatives, campaigns and project pipeline review processes as needed
Ensure key elements of business strategy are understood and implemented by the sales organization across the EMEA region
Drive Sourcing initiatives to expand the profitability of the CASE & Construction Product Portfolio and implement and renew legal supplier contracts that clarify and protect the Brenntag supplier position
Review and manage costs to ensure effective and efficient operation.
Run regular WC review meetings and ensure stock control initiatives are developed and implemented to meet business expectations and targets
Resolve disputes, supply issues, negotiate purchase prices in association with other functions
Ownership and delivery of monthly reporting
Ownership of CASE & Cons LINK room
Sales trend and margin analysis of key stock sections
Development of Marketing Communications tools, PRs etc
Effective interaction with other Business Units, i.e. Polymers, Rubber, Cleaning, BES to drive growth for cross-industry suppliers and initiatives managed by IMM direct line reportees
Work effectively with other functions, Legal, IT, MDA, Supply Chain, Controlling, GSO etc
Active positive contribution and participation on corporate projects (Project Brenntag, Brenntag Connect, …)
Solid knowledge about Coatings, Adhesives Sealants and Construction related industry segments including recent developments in products and technologies
High level of organisational skill
Good interpersonal communication skills
Business Analysis
Marketing Principles
Market Research
Business case development ( Investments)
High level of negotiating skills
Sales, technical and purchasing experience
Good knowledge of support tools (ERM , EBW etc) and CRM
Logistics and material handling experience useful
Proficient with Microsoft Word, XL, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note
Must be fluent in English
