Role

If you’ve done your research you’ll know we’ve had a challenging time with our IT systems, and because of this digital transformation it is one of our key organisational priorities. You could support this in the role of Director of Digital by:

  • Leading a major digital re-design and re-build programme, working closely with the Director of Technology, Director of Data and Insight, Operational Directors and wider internal and external colleagues to ensure this is done safely and effectively.
  • Support CQC’s role in driving improvement in health and care by maximising the value of our digital solutions, with the full support and leadership of our Interim Chief Digital and Data Officer.

You’ll play a key role in the organisation by:

  • Shaping digital strategy: Leading the development and delivery of digital strategies that support and align with CQC’s goals.
  • Driving transformation: Overseeing the integration of systems and processes that enhance service delivery across the organisation.
  • Engaging and influencing: Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure our digital provision supports business needs, improves the quality of our work and delivers measurable impact.

Show Us

We are seeking an exceptional, highly experienced and credible candidate who can demonstrate:

  • Proven digital transformation leadership: Experience leading large-scale digital or business transformation programmes in complex organisations, preferably regulatory or health and care environments, with a focus on improving effectiveness and culture.
  • Leading development and delivery: Evidence of leading the development of and successfully delivering major business systems using low code platforms in a challenging, complex and changing environment.
  • Strong leadership values: Demonstrative personal and professional values of equality, transparency and authenticity, used to effectively engage with others while building trust and ensuring success through seeking and responding to feedback.
