Director of Business Development and Marketing
I’m delighted to be partnering with leading law firm Boodle Hatfield LLP on the hire of their new Director of Business Development and Marketing.

Their clients come from a wide range of sectors, both in the UK and internationally, and include some of the most well-established owner-managed businesses and property companies, as well as fast-growing entrepreneurial enterprises and ultra-high net worth families. Their chief priority is helping their clients achieve their commercial objectives, whatever form their business takes.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Business Development and Marketing to join their executive team. This pivotal role involves working closely with the executive board to drive the firm-wide BD & Marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering strategies to support the firm's growth, leveraging their longstanding client base and reputation in the high-net-worth individual (HNWI) sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the executive board to create, execute, and oversee the firm's BD & Marketing strategy.
Proactively identify marketing and business development opportunities, understanding the firm's services and the sectors in which they operate.
Recognising that different practices and client relationships are developed in different ways and, in doing so, identifying the best strategies to deliver profitable growth for the Firm
Support the firm in understanding its external market perception and clarifying its brand positioning.
Ensuring there is a clear external communications strategy which is consistent with the firm's brand and conveys a constant message throughout its communication channels, including website and social media platforms
Drive greater collaboration and cross-selling within the firm, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the work done by different parts of the firm.
Lead on pitch and tender opportunities, providing insight into client activity, growth opportunities, and client & matter profitability.
Ensuring there are clear Return on Investment principles and reporting for marketing and business development activity and advising accordingly
