Role Overview
As a Director of Retailers & Brands for Shoptalk, you will be responsible for building, nurturing and securing a network of retailer and brand attendees for the entire Shoptalk 2024 portfolio - including Shoptalk Spring, Groceryshop, Shoptalk Meetup for Women and Shoptalk Fall.
You will be a champion for enduring client relationships as this will involve expanding current accounts, both locally and globally, as well as researching and seeking new retail and brand partnerships. Your focus will be on attendee acquisition and retention at both an individual and group level, with an enthusiastic and creative approach to relationship building. This will also extend to paid for delegate ticket sales and may also support the rollout of additional Shoptalk and Groceryshop products, which may require international travel.
You will be a target driven leader, demonstrating a track record of meeting and exceeding targets on a regular basis across multiple products. You will work across a suite of events simultaneously, so agility is also key to success in this role.
You will be an excellent and confident communicator and presenter, both virtually via the phone/video calls and in person. This role will require you to take advantage and be creative with all means of outreach in order to build relationships with the right attendees and partners.
