Your role

In this role, you will take charge of our global ecosystem initiatives with selected cloud hyperscalers, developing our relationship and engaging at strategic level. As a key member of the Strategy and Business Development team, you will build deep relationships with targeted cloud accounts, develop a keen understanding of their infrastructure needs, and align our investments to meet their growth ambitions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Business Development Efforts: Own the strategic agenda for selected global accounts, representing Digital Realty in high-impact business development meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Drive programmatic approach: Track their infrastructure requirements with the target accounts on global basis and develop deep understanding of their deployment topologies
  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Establish long-term goals and objectives for target accounts, aligning across our sales and commercial stakeholders
  • Influence market strategy: Drive and inform market planning and investment cases to ensure our development strategy meet partner requirements mid and long term
  • Be though leader for the category: Become recognized representing accounts current and future needs internally and a though leader in the cloud industry externally

What You’ll Need

  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of business strategies, products, and applications for leading B2B cloud service providers (e.g., Oracle, Google, IBM).
  • Established Network: A strong network of industry experts, customers, suppliers, and partners at the decision-making and influencer level.
  • Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in business development, product marketing, or strategic selling within the IT or communications industry, with a history of delivering measurable results.
  • Business Development Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate value propositions and close complex partnership agreements in a multinational, senior-level setting.
  • Global Perspective: Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience working across cultures.
  • Educational Background: A degree in a relevant field is required; an MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
