Would you like to make a difference to the life of our young people with special needs by ensuring they have a fun and safe journey to and from school?

The London Borough of Hounslow’s Transport Co-ordination service is currently recruiting minibus Drivers.

We require part-time staff for 17 hours per week split shift (am and pm). There are opportunities to work additional hours and for Casual Drivers. You will be responsible for transporting children and adults with special needs to various destinations, within and outside of the Borough.

Have you got what we are looking for?

• Possess a PSV (D) or D1 category driving licence
• The ability to safely drive a large minibus (there will be an assessment)
• Caring, patient, understanding and have a friendly personality
• Good communication skills (communication with Schools, Parents and Colleagues)
• Are physically fit (to manoeuvre wheelchairs and fit clamps)
• Possess the ability to use a road map
• Able to deal with emergency situations in a positive manner
• Good team player
